The Safari Stop

My boyfriend and I were taking an incredible trip to Benguela, where we supported the Angola national amputee football team as they won the African Cup. After the competition, we made our way up the country by coach and toward the capital, making stops along the way.

One of our stops was for a safari at Quicama National Park. Here, we had a fantastic driver who guided us throughout the day, and he suggested that we stop here as it was a fantastic viewpoint. As we exited the car and walked, what unfurled in front of us was vibrant ridges of orange rock spanning for miles beyond my imagination. It was well worth it!
