Tasmanian Aurora

There’s this beach at Dodges Ferry east of Hobart Tasmania. We had just packed up all our gear that night, ready do catch an early flight home from our adventurous photography trip to Tasmania.

However, I received a message from a mate who lived in Tasmania, who told me about a strong aurora signal coming through. So we quickly took off, drove about an hour and found this absolutely spectacular display.
